With more than 30 years as a professional photographer, I specialize in creating natural, confident professional headshots and expressive, creative portraits of dogs and the people who love them.
I love creating fun, whimsical dog portraits as well as beautiful fine art portraits. I’m especially known for my “dogs on mirrors” photographs and for my absolute attention to detail when it comes to editing and finishing each image.
For the past 13 years I’ve worked with OU Health photographing doctors, fellows, residents, and staff, and one thing I hear over and over is: “I usually hate having my photo taken, but that was actually fun.” Helping people relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera is one of my specialties.
My sessions are simple and relaxed, but always guided with attention to detail. My camera is tethered directly to my laptop, so you can see your images immediately after we shoot. We start with a quick “first round” so you can see what you like, and then we refine from there. I’ll keep shooting until we capture the image that feels exactly right (within reason!).
Over the years I’ve photographed everything from professional and collegiate sports to wildlife, dog sports, horse racing, boxing, luxury automobiles, conferences, and major events. My work has appeared locally, nationally, and internationally on corporate covers, magazines, and newspapers.
But after all those experiences, two things bring me the most joy: great headshots and great dogs.
